This is a classic and popular trek along the ancient trade route between Nepal and Tibet. The lodges are very good , the scenery is superb and the altitude is relatively low. Starting near Pokhara we climb up passing through lowland villages . En route we climb the famous poon hill for spectacular mountain view .We enjoy hot spring in Tatopani , and walk along the Kaligandaki valley which boasts the deepest gorge in the world.Before reaching Jomsom we pass through beautiful hill villages of Tukche and Marpha .Along the way we have tremendous views of Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre towering on either side of us .North of Jomsom we pass throug h Tibet like country of Mustang and finally reach Muktinath on 7th day. Muktinath is a famous pilgrimmage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. We return to Jomsom, where we catch our flight back to Pokhara.During the trek we eat and sleep in the local lodge.

Day 01: Arrival and transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara Transfer to Hotel
Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga
Day 04: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2775 m)
Day 05: Climb to pun hill and trek to Tato pani (1180m)
Day 06: Tatopani to kalopani (2560 m)
Day 07: Kalopani to Marpha (2665 m)
Day 08: Marpha to Kagbeni (2810 m)
Day 09: Kagbeni to Muktinath (3800 m)
Day 10: Muktinath to Jomsom ( 2713 m)
Day 11: Fly to Pokhara early morning, rest and leisurely boating at Phewa lake
Day 12: Fly to Kathmandu , free time
Day 13: Half day sightseeing in Kathmandu , shopping
Day 14: Fly home

Note: The itinerary and the arrangements can be tailored to your requirement. A elephant back safari , a rafting trip or a short trip to Tibet can also be added on this itinerary.
