Trek to Frozon Lake, Gosainkunda
This popular trek includes all the best the langtang region has to offer-high mountains and glaciers , serene lakes and tremendous mountain views, in a short time frame and in a relatively comfortable elevation.In summer the langtang valley boasts spectacular scenery of primula and other wild flowers.
From Dhunche we pass through traditional Tamang villages and meet yak herds in many of the yak pastures of the region before we reach Kyanjin Gompa(3800 m) on the 4th day. We explore around langtang valley and visit the glaciers before we head for Gosainkunda. En route we have amazing mountain view from Laurebina, including mountains of Annapurna to Langtang region and even those of Tibet .We stay by the lakeside lodge and enjoy the serene beauty of the lake.The view from the ridge above the lake allows us to view far away Shishapangma mt of Tibet and the Tibetan Plateau itself.After crossing Laurebina Pass (4610 m) we descend down and pass through Sherpa villages of Helambu before we reach scenic stop at Chisapani. We drive to the trailhead Dhunche in private Jeep(7hours) and from the end point at Sundarijal by our private coach.
You walk an average of 6-7 hours a day and carry only a small back pack.For food and accomodation we use tea house lodges .

- Day 03: Kathmandu to Dhunche/Syabrubesi (1420 m)
- Day 04: Syabrubensi to Lama hotel (2380 m)
- Day 05: Lama hotel to Langtang (3541 m)
- Day 06: Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3900m )
- Day 07: Exploration day at Kyanjin Gompa
- Day 08: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama hotel
- Day 09: Lama hotel to Syabru
- Day 10: Syabru to Shin Gompa (3251 m)
- Day 11: Shin Gompa to Gosainkunda (4380 m)
- Day 12: Climb to Gosainkunda ridge, rest day
- Day 13: Gosainkunda to Ghopte (3430 m)
- Day 14: Ghopte to Kutumsang (2470 m)
- Day 15: Kutumsang to Chisapani (2194 m)
- Day 16: Chisapani to Sundarijal(1463 m) , Drive to Kathmandu
- Day 17: Fly home
