The Golden Triangle is so called because of the triangular shape formed by the locations of New Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan on a map. It offers a great numbers of finest monuments, palaces, arts and architectures of medieval India. If you have just a week or less for your hoiday in India, this could be the best tour for you.
Now, most of the travelers would be aware why is it named so and why is it famous. But what most of us don't know is it is the best way to experience cultural heritage and dive into royalty. What's interesting, is that this Golden Triangle India itinerary runs in a triangle of British, Rajputana and Mughal culture all at once. Itinerary
- Day 01: Arrival in Delhi, transfer to hotel
- Day 02: Guided sightseeing tour of Delhi including the Red Fort, the Qutaub Minar, Jame Masjid etc.
- Day 03: Delhi-Agra ( approx 200kms- 4 hrs)
Drive to Agra for four hours and check in to hotel. Full day sightseeing in Agra including the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal.
Note: The Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays. - Day 04: Agra – Jaipur (250kms- 05 hrs)
Drive to Jaipur , the fabled "Pink City" visiting the Fattehpur Sikri en route. Evening enjoy traditional Rajasthani dinner with folk cultural dance. - Day 05: Guided tour of Jaipur including the fort of Amber, the Hawa Mahal, Maharaja's city palace and Jantar Mantar Observatory. Explore the colourful local market on your own.
- Day 06: Jaipur – Samode –Delhi ( 250 kms- 05 hrs)
Drive back from Jaipur to Delhi stopping en route to vist the magnificent Samode Palace.Overnight in Delhi hotel - Day 07: Fly onward
